I failed miserably when I first tried to start meditating regularly.
Although I was already doing weekly yoga, and journaling regularly, meditation was trickier.
I felt resistance every step of the way...

- I had nobody to teach me the fundamentals
- I had no support to encourage me when I stumbled
- I had nowhere to ask questions when I felt confused.
Without any of those support mechanisms in place, it took me months of starts and stops before I developed any consistency in my practice.
